	PATTAYA "QUEEN OF ASIA'S RESORTS" Two hours drive from Bangkok (147 kms.) Pattaya, "Thailand,s Riviara", is an internationally famous beach resort, situated along a broad bay on the Gulf of Thailand. The criteria for judging it as one of the best resorts are of course, its natural setting, accommodation, dining facilities, leisure and entertainment.		DINING Pattaya has an abundance of seafood resterants offering a wide variety of cooking styles to please the most discerning appetile. They can dine on succulent seafood such as tiger prawns, lobster and crab as well as European & Asian cuisine

	NIGHTLIFE For night owis, Pattaya's lively and colorful nightlife is world famous. A stroll along the shore takes you to the "strip" (as south Pataya is called ). Here, one finds a variety of entertainment, from soft music, "a-go-go" and beer bars, discos and world famous cabaret shows. Other attractions are video movies in several Languages and boxing macthes.		SPORTS For sun lovers and water sports enthusiasts, Pattaya's sunny climate provides ideal conditions for bathing as well as every imaginable water activity including fishing, sailing, para-sailing and scuba-diving. For those who do not want to get drenched from water sports, Pattaya also has many kinds of land sports and games to choose from, such as tennis, golf, archery and darts.
	TRANSPORT Taxis are available all over Pattaya or if you prefer, minibuses, which will stop anywhere along their route. Prices should be negotiaed before boarding. Local runs cost five bath each which longer hauls may come to thirty bath for two persons A warning : roads can be very slippery during the rainy season.
